Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs: Pool Heater Repair
What type of pool heaters do you repair at Westrock?
We fix gas heaters, electric heat pumps, and solar-ready systems. We install all top brands for optimal performance and safe operation.
How do I know if my pool heater needs to be fixed?
The symptoms are in the form of heat production failure, unusual noises, pilot or ignition, or inefficiency with power consumption. The condition can be diagnosed and repaired or replaced by a qualified technician.
What do you include with your repair service visit?
Service involves inspecting gas lines or electrical hooks, cleaning or replacing filters, testing thermostats and sensors, and checking safety controls and pilot or ignition systems.
Do you provide estimates before repairs?
Yes—a complete estimate is provided before any work is begun. Part and labor costs are clearly defined so you can decide on the best course of action.
How long is the typical repair?
Minor work takes about an hour. More complex issues involving parts or system cleaning can take more than one visit based on part availability.
Should regular tune-ups be performed?
Yes. Regular maintenance permits early warning of possible breakdowns and extends the life of your heater with a cost savings over eventual repair.
Is repair cheaper than replacement?
It’s a function of the condition and age of the heater. Minor repairs are generally within an affordable budget, but systems that are tired and experience frequent breakdowns may be best replaced. We provide objective advice.
Do you fix swimming spa and hot tub heaters?
Yes—we fix hot tub and swim spa heaters as well, including turn-key systems with specialty components and electrical designs.
What type of warranty is repair work covered by?
Labor is justified within two weeks following service. Warranties by manufacturers may cover parts. If issues persist, we return for follow-up diagnostics if needed.
May I be present during the service?
Yes. Customers are encouraged to sit in and have questions answered. Openness is to be encouraged throughout the diagnostic and repair process.
