FAQs: Pool and Spa Maintenance

Westrock offers weekly, bi‑weekly, and monthly pool, spa, and swim spa service plans. Skimming, brushing, vacuuming, filter service, and chemical balancing are done on each visit.
Weekly service is best to prevent the pool from algae growth and to maintain clear water. Bi‑weekly or monthly plans can be supplied but may require more homeowner maintenance in between visits.
Technicians vacuum, skim, brush the pool, backwash or clean filters, test and balance chemicals, and inspect equipment for proper operation.
Spa visits involve balancing chemicals, cleaning filters, and draining/refilling periodically as needed. Spa opening and drain services are also offered as a stand-alone service.
Regular maintenance includes chemical treatment. Homeowners can provide their own chemicals if desired (left out and ready at time of service).
Yes, DE and cartridge filters are cleaned as needed during service calls, at a minimal extra cost. Salt cells are cleaned, if needed, separately.
A standard service call is $189 an hour for pools (travel and first hour included) with $89 for each ½ hour thereafter. Spa calls and parts may incur additional charges.
Yes. The maintenance can be suspended in writing. The service only extends through pool closing, unless otherwise noted in writing.
Yes, there is an upcharge following heavy storms or bad weather, as outlined in the maintenance agreement.
Yes, Westrock offers maintenance on swim spas and hot tubs with the same protocols for vacuuming, testing, and balancing. Drain/refill services are also offered.
If any issues are found, technicians may take an authorization for repair at part cost plus hourly rates. Extended repairs may require additional visits.
